“HOPE DEFERRED”
The Old Testament Book of Wisdom says, “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life” (Proverbs 13:12 KJV). Other translations read:
NIV “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”

BIBLES
Heart of America Prison Ministries supplies leather-bound study Bibles for prisoners. These Bibles are long-lasting and durable. They also are precious treasures that prisoners tend to take with them and keep for years; no matter what their circumstances. Their stories tell about how important it is to them to be able to carry the same Bible with them when they are transferred to other facilities.
Heart Ministries has a policy regarding Bible requests
from inmates. We ask that prisoners write a request for their own
Bibles, including a short explanation of why they would like the Bible with the request.
If
you have a prisoner in your life that would like a free
Bible, please send them our Heart Ministries form for requesting a leather
bound Bible.
