Mission Statement

Heart Ministries continues today, equipping men and women behind prison walls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and support materials including study courses, books and videos.

Our primary purpose is to reach prisoners with the Gospel of Jesus Christ by distributing personal, leather-bound Bibles to prisoners.  Through our supporters, Heart Ministries has given over 4000 Bibles to prisoners since 1995 and  gave an estimated 500 Bibles in 1999; and just mailed out an additional 300 bibles in March 2007.

Many prisoners are imprisoned for lengthy periods and their Bible is their most cherished and most used possession.  The enemy enters prison gates with pornography and many other dangers and distractions.   Heart Ministries believes we are to provide sturdy, durable, first-class leather bound Bibles that will last a life time and will equip our brothers and sisters in prison for spiritual battle.

Heart Ministries gives discipleship materials to prisons to enable spiritual growth and to equip prisoners to lead their neighbors to Christ.  Most literature is secured at publisher's cost or supplied free of charge.
