Your Sponsorship Brings Hope to a Dark Place:

In prison, inmates are surrounded by some of the worst evils in the world. Hope is often lost, and despair and depression set in. Inmates are faced with ongoing violence, anger, hatred, strife, deceit, sexual immorality & assault, pornography, and all sorts of evil.  A Study Bible, the Holy Spirit, and a walk with Jesus teach them the spiritual tools necessary to have victory over darkness!

Eyes and Ears Are Open to Receive:

Many inmates hit rock bottom while in prison. At this juncture, the heart is open, and the eyes and ears are ready to receive. This is a time where real change can occur. What if they saw hope? What if they received a Bible?  This is where YOU can help make an eternal difference by changing a life, one Bible at a Time!

Get a Bible Into a Prisoner’s Hands & it Will Change Their Life.

Helping Change Lives, One Bible at a Time!

Did you know it costs the taxpayers about $30,000/year to house a prisoner? For only $30, YOU can help change a life behind bars with the gift of a first-quality Study Bible (retail value $50-80). That’s 1/1000th the price of one year of incarceration. Inmates who desire change are waiting for God’s Word to arrive in their hands. 2,000 inmates are on our Bible waiting list. The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword. It has the power to change lives. It is the single most influential and powerful tool to bring prisoners out of the darkness and into the light (while reducing recidivism rates). What if you gave $30/month for 12 months? 12 lives become transformed behind bars. Will you help us change a life today? Will you consider partnering for $1/day ($30/month) and helping us raise twelve disciples this year behind bars? Take a moment to “pray and obey” whatever the Holy Spirit speaks to your heart. Transform lives with a Study Bible today!

    Change 12 Lives This Year

For $30/month (just $1/day), you can change 12 lives this year by helping prisoners come in direct contact with their Lord and Savior through the Word of God. Partner with the Holy Spirit to transform a life today!

Change One Life & You’ll Change Many.

Children Follow in Their Parents Footsteps

    • According to the Department of Health and Human Services, children of incarcerated parents are 7x more likely to be locked up one day.
    • And according to the Women’s Prison & Home Association, Inc., Children of offenders are five times more likely than their peers to end up in prison themselves. One in 10 will have been incarcerated before reaching adulthood.” Help transform a life today!

    Staggering Statistics

    • There are approximately 7.4 million children who have a parent in prison, in jail, or under correctional supervision.
    • The average age of children with an incarcerated parent is 8 years old
    • Out of all inmates, 93.4% of them are male.

    No Father Figures

    • The reason why many of these children follow in their parents footsteps is because they don’t have proper supervision, or proper parenting. They often bounce around from relative to relative, unable to maintain consistency in their life.
    • Studies have proven that the lack of a father figure in a child’s life can have disastrous effects on the child’s development. Fathers are necessary to bring balance to a child’s life.

Save the Father, Save the Family

    • Did you know that when the Father of a household is genuinely transformed by Jesus, there is an 83% chance that his whole household will come to know Christ?
    • The ripple effect of a father coming to know Jesus is nothing short of incredible. This impact keeps children from following their fathers into prison and helps them become who God made them to become.  Help transform a life today!

When you give $30/month for a first-quality Study Bible, your gift reaches first into the prison to transform a life, and then outside the walls of the prison to his family. Your gift helps reduce the statistical chance of his son or daughter going to prison by approximately 300 percent.  Help transform a life and family for $30 today!

“The jailer called for lights, rushed in, and fell trembling before Paul and Silas…and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house…then immediately he and all his family were baptized.”

    – Acts 16:29-33

    Help transform a life today!

    Susan, Incarcerated in Florida

I wanted to let you know I received my beautiful Bible. Thank you so much for your faithfulness to all of us incarcerated. As Jesus said in Matthew 25, In as much as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me. May God continue to bless all of you at HEART of America as you continue to reach out and touch the world with the love of Jesus.

    William, Incarcerated in Georgia

It begin to thank you for this beautiful Bible. I love it! And I really love the historical notes and the way it is illustrated through and through. This may sound crazy, but I think it means more to me because of the wait. I don’t know, but it seems almost like I grew into it. Please let the people whose donations and time were spent making this possible know that I really appreciate it and that I will be adding them to my prayer list. I hope one day to be able to help someone the way you have helped me, not only with this Bible, but also with your letters over the years. You have given me a great gift.

    Jarrod, Incarcerated in Arkansas

I was placed in the AR prison system for selling meth. I was crushed and very depressed. The thought of being away from my family, especially around the holidays, was a lot to bare. The first month of intake, you are in a single man cell in complete solitude. The only reading material allowed is a Bible. As I started reading, something drove me to focus on the New Testament. Being Christmas, it felt right to have a better understanding of Jesus. It ended up being the best Christmas I have ever had because I spent it with Jesus, just me and him. It was the first time in my life that I could hear God speaking to my heart, and I’ve had Him there ever since.

    How Does Prison Sponsorship Work?

The bibles cost us $22 to buy wholesale from our ministry partner, and then $8 to package, label and ship. So your $30 gift directly covers a new
